Lamination of material layers

Pressing is a key technology that enables a strong and durable bond between various material layers and base substrates. The process begins with the precise mechanical application of adhesive using a roller coater onto the core material, such as solid wood, particleboard, or other sheet materials. Subsequently, the top layer—such as laminate, HPL (high-pressure laminate), or aluminum—is applied, and the entire assembly is pressed under controlled pressure in a large-format press.

This process creates dimensionally stable, mechanically resistant, and high-quality bonded components suitable for further machining and final use. Pressing ensures uniform adhesion across the entire surface and high repeatability of the resulting quality, which is essential, especially for custom and small-batch production. The technology is utilized in furniture manufacturing as well as in the production of technical and design parts with high demands for precision and aesthetics.
